Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 7 Send Message	Hi, This side of my daughter's tree is an absolute brick wall - I'm looking for info re my ex-partner's parents. Robert was born abt 1929 in Fife, believed to have been around the Dunfermline area. He lived for a while in Steelend, where his mother also lived, after he married Mary Stirling. Someone may remember him, as he had an accident while a child, where a nail got embedded in his knee and they removed the kneecap. He worked for a while, I believe, in Valleyfield Pit at Low Valleyfield, and settled in High Valleyfield. He died about 1981. Robert married Mary Stirling and had 6 children, (in order: Robert, Anna, John, Henry (Harry), James (Jim or Jimmy) and Mary) my daughter's father being the youngest son. Mary died abt 1990 in High Valleyfield. Both are buried at Culross Cemetery, Fife, Scotland, along with their son, Henry (Harry) who died last October (2007). Would love to hear from anyone with information about the family, so that I can start adding this side of my daughter's family to the tree. Regards, Kay.
