Hi Reggie
The marriage must have taken place in Ireland but I have no idea where! A cousin of mine says she remembers her mother talking of Templemore Co Tipperary but she can't be sure. I checked parish records but there doesn't seem to be anything! I got Sarah's surname - Mitchell - from her daughter Bridget's birth cert. What do you suggest I do now?!
Regards Eleanor

Thanks Reggie but there isn't a marriage cert for them! There seems to have been a lot of Sarah Mitchells so really I don't know where to turn. Can you suggest anything?

The marriage cert will tell you her father's name (if known).

With that info, you may be able to find her in 1841.........

Hello
I have been unable to find much information re my paternal great grandmother Sarah Mitchell. I know she was born c1830 in Sussex or Surrey. She married Andrew Quinlan around 1850 and had 10 children one of whom was Michael, my grandfather. She died in 1869. Can anyone help?
