This is my grandfather. All I know about him is that he married my grandmother Anorah (Norah) Dennahy on Sept. 17, 1921 in Walthamstow. His father was also Alfred James Jackson. I don't even know his date of birth or where he was born. Believe that his mothers name was Julia. He lived at 5 Storey Rd., Walthamstow when married. He also had a sister Alice May Jackson. Thank you for any help that you can offer. |

Does the marriage certificate give an occupation for Alfred's father? |

his father's occupation is listed as post office employee. Anorah Josephine Dennahy is my grandmother but she died in Feb. 1975 in the States. Alfred died 8 Dec. 1935 in Catford. Death cert. doesn't give place of birth. |

Just found that his sister Alice was born in Romford June Qtr. 1901. I just might have to send for her birth cert. for more information. From what I can remember from my grandmother, Alfred was one of about 5 children. |
