Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 9 Send Message	I am trying to get information on my uncle Ernest. Ernest was born at 59 Stonebridgegate, Ripon, North Yorkshire in on 25th November 1919. His mother Edna Davies was then transferred to the Workhouse in Ripon and in January of 1920 Ernest was sent for adoption to Mrs Makin, George Square, Skinner Lane. Leeds. On discharge from the workhouse Ernest was described as crippled.
