Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 9 Send Message	I am trying to find information on my Great Grandfather William Alexander Davies. My Grandmother is Edna Davies (William;s daughter) and we know she has connections with Liverpool & Ripon. We think William may have scottish connections as we are told Edna would refer to him as 'McTavish. We dont know when or where he was born. However when Edna married Ahmad Hussain in Liverpool in 1931 he was described on the wedding certificate as been a Foreman Joiner. We think he was married twice as Edna also made reference to a step mother.
