Can anyone tell me if there is any close relationship between Eugenie Hunter and the Plackett family.
The facts I have are....
1891 Census shows Eugenie Hunter as 14yrs old and as Servant to the Plackett family at 64 Cenonbury Rd. Islington. (The Head of the Plackett family was Thomas, a Master Printer.)
.
1901 Census as 24 yrs old and a boarder at 62 Canonbury Rd. and occuptation a Bookfolder. This is next door to the Placketts who were still at No. 64.

1904 Marriage register has a Eugenie Hunter marrying Robert Skinner or John Fell at Islington.

I have a copy of Eugenie Hunter's birth certificate which I ordered from details shown in 1901 census giving her birth as Greenwich.

This shows her as being born 8th Feb. 1874 which would make her to be 27yrs old and not 24 as the 1901 census shows.
She was born at 78 Rlwy Grove, Deptford
Her father was Joseph Hunter a Hammerman and her mother was Frances Hunter nee McDonald.

Eugenie had a close relationship with the Placketts all her life and was thought to be related in some way but I cannot find a connection. although there are rumours of illegitamcy.
