I'm not sure , as he was in there with a sister and a William and either a Lucy or Eliza in their 70's |

That is why I was hoping to see what happened to Alfred after 1851 as I can't find an Alfred on later census with his birth place. |

I know I am wondering if he died there. If so he is not my ancestor. There are so many Alfred Kings. Just got my great grandfathers marriage certificate and his father is Alfred too. I was hoping to see what his profession was so I can identify which Alfred King. But it states that he is deceased! So dissapointed. |

Could William and Lucy be Alfred and Lucy's grandparents? Ages were rounded down on the 1841 so they could have been anything from 45 to 49. |

I was looking around the date of 1839, so I will look at the birth and send for his birth certificate. Thanks to you both |

Alfred married Sarah Richards in 1884.I know this is correct as I have his marraige certificate. I ordered it so I could be certain of his fathers name and his proffesion. His name is Alfred too and he was deceased. |

Found the 1901. Alfred Senior's POB - Bucks Cookham. I don't think there is Cookham in Bucks. There is one in Berkshire, just the other side of the Thames from Buckinghamshire. Maybe his accent made Berks sound like Bucks? |

The family in 1891 - Alfred senior's POB is dittoed under the entry above (High Wycombe). Interestingly, there are four households in the house, all with heads having POBs in Buckinghamshire. |
