At least i have them on a census now and i know where walter was born!! Its just this elusive marriage thats the problem

On checking freebmd....only 47% of that qtr is transcribed.......explains why 'your' entry wasnt there.

I"ve looked on freenmd with no luck. I've got a copy of it on a parish record which is pretty unreadable. looks like Surrey in 1887
