Hello Valerie

Many thanks for your help I have been trying to find out what has happened to them, do you know how I could get certs for there deaths, is it possible.

Again thank you very much for your help. If you need anything looking up that the national archives here hold please let me know and i will see what i can do

Hi Martin, The Ryerson Index (on-line) shows newspaper death notices to present day. Sadly... Albert William Davies died 14/5/2005 age 85yrs ('Adelaide Advertiser' 16/5/2005) ...and there's a Jean Davies who died 16/12/2006 age 77 - also in 'Adelaide Advertiser' 18/12/2006. .....'Ryerson's offer to do (free) 'look-ups' of newspaper notices -for family names etc. ......... As the deaths are fairly recent it's possible the Funeral Directors will have Sally's details/ address. .....Valerie

Looking for some help in locating Albert Davies, wife and child

Moved to Austraila with wife Jean and Daughter Sally in 1951. Left from port: Tilbury, Ship: RMS Otranto, Depart: 14 June 1951- arrived Brisbane 24 July 1951.
Last known address Sydney. Don't know if they are dead or alive?

Albert (known as frank) served during WW2 with either the Sussex regt, or 17/21st lancers

March 1921 Albert WF Fordham Lewisham 1D 1917

Sally Johnson Worthing 5H 654 March 1948 (daughter of Sally Davies nee Johnson)

I have had no joy in locating any information other than what ship they went on.
