Hi everyone,

Details are a bit scant I'm afraid but I really hope some of you good people out there can help me!

I have the marriage cert. of George Henry Thompson and Annie Amelia Jackson on the 8th Dec 1927.

I have traced Annie's family, but I can't find George's family.

He is listed as being 27, making him born about 1900. As far as any family member can remember (George disappeared off the radar in the 50's!) he was supposedly born in York.

His father is listed on the cert. as Matthew Thompson, Coppersmith, but that's all I have.

I hope it's not too tall an order for someone to help me track either George or Matthew in any census records.

By the way, I'm not too sure about how accurate the ages actually are as Annie is listed as being 22 in 1927 when she was really closer to 32!

Hope someone can help!!!
