Charles Walter Norman (1903) - optician Northants

I'm trying to piece together a missing decade in the life of my grandfather Charles Norman. He left his family in Northampton around 1948. At some point prior to that he worked at Hanwells Opticians in Northants.

He resurfaced again in 1959 in Leeds, where he worked at one of the hospitals as an optician. Thanks to above and beyond support from Genes members I've tracked down his second family (so the story had a happy ending).

But if anyone out there has any recollections of him - or knows about that missing 10 years - I'd love to hear from you. There's a chance he used the name of Bosher for a while as this was how he was registered on his birth certificate.
