I am tracing the family of Annie Jones (my grandmother) born in 1893 in Lesmahagow to John & Jane Jones, they had atleast two more sons William, went to New York for Kodak company and Jessie?. Jane had been married first to a Park (first name unkown)and she had 3 sons? John moved to New Zealand, wifes name was Bessie, Jim and Frances and another daughter Nancy? I have come across a letter from Hamilton and Grace McVicar written in 1929 from Fallin, Scotland they had 4 children, James, John, Isabella and Agnes, atleast at this time. Hamilton did mention that they would like the family to move to New Zealand. If anyone has come across any info I would love to hear from you. Regards |
