some one help please!!! Im new to all this , trying to trace my family tree..great grandad callled William Henry Harris born around 1885, in Blstone, or stone in staffs fathers name Harry I think...moved to south Yorks,,married an Elizabeth Cox...Hope someone can help...Jane...

there is a henry harris born 1885 stonnal staffs in the 1891 census parents james and hannah sister annie age 11 brothers john age 9 samuel age 15 shows his father was born aston warwickshire

or there is a henry harris born 1884 parents thomas and alice they were both born hereford henry is shown to be bilston there are 6 brothers and sisters listed 1891 census

Thanks...I think William married Elizabeth in south Yorks, they had a son called Clifford, daughters Kathleen who moved to America, Betty and Maud who died young

There is no birth comes up in Sheffield for Clifford so it looks very likely that the one in Barnsley is him.

If you want to try and find them in 1881 you can search either Ancestry or Familysearch free.
