I have Agnes Ann Ringwood Nee Mitchell died 1976 Q3 Grimsby
dob 7/7/1881, married John William Ringwood 1900 Grimsby, father John Christopher a labourer, wits John C Mitchell which was probably her brother,
1901c Agnes Ringwood living Grimsby with neice Helen Bentham age 5. I have found a Fred Bentham marraige to a Sarah Mitchell but cannot find a connection Agnes.
1891c Agnese Mitchell living parish Clee with Weelsby with brother John and relatives Matilda Dench (Aunt).
As I have not found Agnes living with her parents at any time I am struggling to piece it all together.
Anyone help please.

Thanks for that, the marriage for Eliza Rebecca Siddle and John Christopher Mitchell is definatetly
right I have the details, and witnesses to this marriage were Elizabeth Wright and Thomas Ringwood, John William Ringwoods brother.
I don't think this John Christopher Mitchell is Agnes father though, he was a fisherman. On both marriages for John and Agnes Mitchell father is down as labourer.
Can any find a John Mitchell with sister Matilda.

No I hadn't seen that one, don't know why. Looks like thats the John Mitchell I am looking for, he was my husbands GGG Grandfather. I wonder why they had sent Agnes away to Grimsby at such a young age, and why Agnes's niece Helen Bentham was sent to livewith her.
Still can't find a connection though for Helen's Mother Sarah and Agnes, thought they were sisters?
