My Great grandmother was Sarah Jane Harris from London, her father was Thomas Pryor Harris b1838 in Tywardreath, Cornwall. His father was Christopher Harris, born in St Erth, near St Ives, Cornwall.

It would appear that they had something to do with the railway, as I can see no other reason for their move to London.

Does anyone know of any relatives still living in Tywardreath/St Erth - there is a butchers called Harris in Tywardreath, could be a relation?
