Hi Nicki it seems logical because he was 18 the same age as my great uncle when he was killed in October 1918.

Is anyone a relative of Cyril Charles Moore born c. 1900 and who was in the 1st/5th battalion of the Devonshire Regiment in World War I and was killed on 21st October 1918 in France? I have just found out that my great uncle, Howard Phipps was in the same battalion and Regiment of the British Army, was killed on the same day and is buried in the same cemetery in France as Cyril. If you have any information about their service in the army or about how they died I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
