Find Ancestors

I am unable to identify a birth certificate for Emmanuel. According to censuses was born c1855 in Pontywain (or Pontywaun). Parents are John and Elizabeth. I want to find Elizabeth's maiden name; her place of birth is given on census as Kenmarsden in Glos. I cannot locate Kenmarsden and believe it may be Kilmersdon in Somt because there are mining connections.

First child born 1845 -- name? Other known children's names and birthdates?

It gives more info to search by and check findings against!

The info you gave by PM was that John Evans died 1860 and the family dispersed, just to put it here in case it helps anyone find anything.

I would strongly suspect that Elizabeth Edwards in 1871 is your Elizabeth, but I haven't seen a marriage to match.

The 1861 household I put above has a child Charles born c 1845 In "Pantywhain" -- and the rest of the details do match fairly well.

Is it possible there was an older child (William) who did not survive, or who left home before the next census, e.g., that you didn't know about?
