This one sounds like him.
I know he was maried in st. Allen cornwall, England in 1848 and that his fathers name was William MItchell and his Mother was Ann

The site is Cornwall parish register

Robert is the only child I can find.
There are two possible Williams.
1) bap 1/11/1773 son of Richard and Elizabeth
2) bap 1/2/1774 son of Edward and Jane.

Have a poke around the Cornwall parish index
William Mitchell Married Jane Rickards Nov 21st 1820 Keverne Witnesses Joseph Rickards and Henry Oats.
Robert Mitchell Baptised 31/6/1825 son of William and Jane
Haven't looked for siblings. Eileen

Trying to find information on Robert Mitchell b1827 Cornwall England, I believe his parents were William and Ann Mitchell. He also had siblings one of which I believe was Thomas. Can't go any further back and wondered if someone could help.
