Find Ancestors

I'm stuck, please can you help with two common surnames?

I have the original marriage certificate for my G,G, Grandparents. I am finding it hard to find the census info on the 1871 for the father John Scott and I think I may also have the wrong birth certificate for William now.

Dec 4th 1870 Parish of Holy Trinity, Haverstock Hill, Middlesex.

William Scott 23yrs, Bachelor, occup Carman, 24 Prince of Wales Rd, father John Scott, occup Shoreman.

Charlotte Taylor 18yrs, Spinster, 15 Hartland Rd, father Thomas Taylor, occup Stonemason.

If anyone can help me go back any further, I would much appreciate it.

1861 possible - have checked 1871 which gives place of birth as Worcester for Charlotte
