Member Since: February 2008 Posts: 2 Send Message	Wesley Anderson, son of negro slave and possibly slaveowner, born Pennsylvania about 1821. Wesley went to sea and spent some time in England. At the age of 18 he landed in NSW, Australia - the following year he married a widow, Sarah Jane Black on 25 April 1840. Sarah was twelve years older than her husband. Does anyone know anything about his parents? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks KIrsten

Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 4,987 Send Message	wesley anderson born 1821 pennsylvania married sarah jane clarke 1840 n.s.w australia born gloucestershire england 1809 he died 4/9/1859 winchelsea victoria. she died 2/11/1899 at bambra victoria buried at winchelsea, her parents were joseph clarke and mary H wickler
