Trying to find any information on Stanley Lewis my husbands father born in Liverpool around 1930 married a Maureen May Berry and had one so Malcolm John Lewis can anybody help thanks

Are you looking for parents and grandparents etc., or 'where is he now'

To go backwards you need his marriage certificate, which should have his fathers name as well.
Then his birth certificate which should have both parents full names.
If you give a date for marriage we can probably find the registration for you.

For 'where is he now', check 192.com

Yes any information as i am doing our family tree my side is full but unfortunately Malcolm has not had any contact with his father since he was 14 months old and unfortunately his mum died several years ago so we dont have any point of contact really.hope this is of some help we are lacking in information Julie

192.com is a site for recent electoral rolls. Google it.

To go backwards you need Stanley & Maureen's marriage certificate, which should have their fathers name. I am not sure but I think certificates from the 1950's may have both parents names ??

To buy a certificate go to www.gro.gov.uk
you have to register first, but that is free.

You need the GRO number which is the Volume & Page, plus district, year & quarter.
If you know when they married, and tell me, I can find that info for you
If you are not sure what year, give me the birth year of their eldest child, and I will have a look and see what I can find.

Without the GRO numbers you have to pay a search fee, with the numbers the cost is 7pounds

Thanks Julie For Being so helpful there eldest son was born Malcolm John Lewis in Wavertree Liverpool 14/3/1956. Sorry to be a bit vague but info very limited julie

Get this certificate and let me know what extra info there is and we can continue the search.

I also found a birth for a Stanley LEWIS

Mothers maiden name .. WHITTAKER

This might NOT be yours.
Wait until you have the marriage certificate to see what extra info. there is on that before worrying about a birth certificate.
