HI RUTH JUST HAD A LOOK FOR YOU ON THE 1871 CENSUS COULDNT FIND ANYTHING ON WILLIAM BUT FOUND THESE DETAILS ON A ELIZABETH JACKSON.

AGE 9
ESTIMATED DATE OF BIRTH 1862.
OCCUPATION COTTON WEAVER.
ADDRESS HAVELOCK TERRACE.
DISTRICT WALTON LE DALE PRESTON.
COUNTY LANCASHIRE.
BIRTH PLACE PRESTON.
BIRTH COUNTY LANCASHIRE.

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE OF HELP.

Here is a William 56 Betsy 52 and daughter Margaret 8 Eden House? Fishwick Preston.
She might have prefered Betsy to Elizabeth!

hi lyn,the head of house elizabeth {widow} and siblings are the aunt and cousins of the william im looking for.confused!!!!!! try researching the jacksons of preston he he! they drive me round the bend.thanks for helping much appriciated. regards ruth

1971 c. I have found a william aged 23 with mother - elizabeth (widow) aged 50 and sister to william -margt aged 16 living in 6 Derby st Preston with another sister maria aged 19. could the be them?

could some kind person have a look at the 1871 census for william and elizabeth jackson with their family william born 1859,margaret born 1862,head of family born 1814 all in preston lancashire.thank you in advance of any help. regards ruth
