TRYING TO FIND WILSON NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK LOL

hello
i wonder if someone could help me i.m trying to find the out about the family of wilson that i have just discovered in my tree this is what i know
pareant were
micheal wilson
jane (surname before marriage unknown )
children
may wilson (eldest)
george wilson (second born he died in 2nd world war i belive )
fred wilson born 6th jan 1934 died 2nd qtr 1999

all these events happened in leeds west yorkshire

i have gained this infomation from a old lady who knew the family but she is quite old now and she can.t remember anything else so any infomation about the above people would be great

This is where the hard slog starts, I'm afraid.

Start with the year of the eldest child's birth and work backwards.

Search each quarter, each year, for a marriage for michael in Leeds - note the references for each possible and then look for Jane (first name only), searching each of the references you noted for michael and compare the index references - if they match, its almost definitley their marriage - OR - order the birth cert of one of their children, which gives you the maiden name of the mother and their approximate ages .

Marriages often take place between 1 and 5 years before the birth of the eldest child

i have looked for a pssible marriage for michael & jane but coming up with nothing i just thought a fresh pair of eyes would see something i missed

jan-march 1934
