Thank you. Don't think anybody has the birth certificate so I may have to buy that. I do know her father was a Charles from the marriage certificate.

Hi,

If you have her birth certificate it would show both parents names. This would enable you toconfirm the family found on the 1901 census is infact the correct one.

Regards,
Teresa

Teresa

thank you. I managed to locate her birth. My problem is finding her on the 1901 census, she seems to have vanished by that point

No it didn't but you didn't mention that she had a middle name so I wasn't looking for one.

Charlotte

Charlotte Report 18 Aug 2008 21:28

Did it give her middle name by any chance?

She was 22 when she married, her father is recorded as Charles Evans on the certificate.

Thank you

Sam

Sam Report 18 Aug 2008 21:12

Do you have the marriage certificate and if so, what is her fathers name? How old was she when she married?

There are too many Louie Evanses on the 1901 census to know which is yours otherwise.

Please can somebody help me trace Louie Evan's Parents? Louie Evans married William Henry Carter in August 1915 in West Ham, they had 4 children who I have managed to trace. But I am unable to find Louie on the 1901 census. Can anybody help me find her parents, I know she was born in Woolwich

Thank you
