Experienced person needed to take a look at a birth cert.this week i recieved a birth cert i ordered, with great excitement i opened it up only to be more confussed!!
Robert Wood b 21st Jan 1850 Halstead Essex
mothers name
Eliza Wood!!
fathers name
ROBERT to my huge disappointment,i cant read the fathers surname, although its definately not Wood.
apart from this all it tells me is that his father was a servant!!
if there is anyone out there who is any good at reading old birth certs can they pm me,
a desperately disappointed Lisa welchxx
