For reference this would appear to be the son John and his family in 1901 all born Liverpool but no father William(sorry James). There was a James Moore of the right age in the Toxteth Park Workhouse a retired carter born in Liverpool. Was Wlliam's father a carter on his marraige cert? |

james was born c/1839the 1901 census has him as a widower living with his son john at haylock st toxteth park i cant fin him on an previous censuses john,s wife was ellin or ellen they had 2 daughters elizabeth 3y/o louisa 1y/oanother son of jameses lived at the same address (william 20 y/o) james appears on the marrage cert of william as deceased william married mary cath thompson 23/02/1902 |
