joan and elizabeth (Bet)

trying to find the births of Joan and Elizabeth (Could be bet or betty)
Harris. Joan was born in 1925 and Elizabeth in 1928. There mother was called Ivy Wilkins. Have looked in British Births can not seem to find them. Ivy Wilkins went to America in 1922 and was not married then. I do not know if she got married over there to a
Mr Harris or when she returned to England. Ivy then went and married a Mr Horace Powell in 1931 in England and had two more children. Ivy's name on the marriage certificate was Ivy Harris, so Mr Harris must have died or they got divorced. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Both Joan and Elizabeth were brought up with the name Harris, but i was wondering could they have been born under the name of Wilkins.

Have you looked at the FULL BMD's or just on FreeBMD?

1925 has 5 possible Joan Harris all with mmn of Harris

ivy's maiden name is Wilkins so i would be surprised if any of them are the Joan Harris that i am looking for unless Ivy said that was her name. These births that you have found, would any of them have been in Banbury or Brackley, because this is the area that they grew up in.

theres a possibility that they could have been. someone has tried to find their birth in America but had no luck. Also i have checked the British births and have had no luck. I was wondering that maybe Ivy wilkins had these two children before she was married, so there names would be wilkins, then maybe when she married a Mr Harris he adopted them. I know that Joan was born in 1925 and Bet was born in 1928 (Bet could be possibly called Elizabeth). i have come to a standstill because i do not know where to go from here.
