I have memories of Maggie Aberdare who came to visit in later life and have heard reference to Uncle Bill who lived in Guildford. My Grandmother was Elizabeth and is reported to have had a splendid soprano voice.I believe she sang with a choir in the Albert Hall but I don't know the date or the occasion. Both GGP's had died 8 years before I was born.Whilst living in Gilfach cynon she was a member of Sion Chapel and then in Penydarren at Horeb Chapel.Peter. |
