Jackie I agree with Maureen.
Baker is a very popular name and I also think to get the certs for the dates you are sure of and work back from there is best

hi maureen I know the only thing I'm sure about is Brian and Sylvia Ihave done the Baker family tree to 1650 but Icarn't fit this lot in I know they were relatives because Iknew them when Iwas younger

Jackie,

Do you have access to Findmypast or Ancestry for the FULL BMD's ?

Find the births for Brian 1942 and Sylvia 1950 to give you the maiden name of the mother.

Then trawl through again and find the marriage of the parents.

You really do need to buy some certs and this will not be a brick walll.

trying to find any info on edward baker born approx 1875 onwards possibily in cheshire cumbria or staffordshire he lived in birkenhead and had a son edward[teddy] married to flo about 1940 they had a son brian[1942] and daughter sylvia[1950] I know this isn't much to go on but hope somone can help
