Find Ancestors

Whilst researching grandmother Edith Annie (Hill) Kitcher, born c1880 in Acklington, Northumberland, I cannot find a trace of her father Robert Charles Hill.
He was a butler - I thought at Chilworth Manor, Hampshire.
However, his wife, Caroline - according to the 1891 census which described her as a butler's wife - was living (without him) at 186 The Chase, Droxford, Hambledon, with her five children.
Any help will be much appreciated.

There isn't a marriage on freebmd for Robert Charles Hill and anyone named Caroline
