Find Ancestors

I am trying to find further information on Annie Cooper born 1882. In the 1901 census she is listed as being a boarder in Wallingford Oxon (2 Goldsmith's Lane). I believe she is my great grandmother. She married John Soden. According to the 1901 census her bithplace is shown as Bristol Somerset. I have no info on why she was in Wallingford and can not locate her in the 1891 census. (Not in Somerset)
Any help would be appreciated.

Linda I think Sophie mentioned she was living in Wallingford in the 1901 census.

I believe Bristol came under Gloucestershire NOT Somerset

Have checked freebmd and can't find anything for Ann (Annie) Cooper from 1879 - 1885 for Bristol do you have her marriage certificate as this would show her age.

This is just GUESS work you really need to order the cert to get the ages of John and Ann

Some parts of Bristol came under Somerset ie Bedminster

HELLO.

Not much luck on this one. I ordered the marriage certificate and Annie Cooper was definitely born 1882 (possibly 1881). Her father was according to the certificate Robert Cooper. The 1901 census has her living in Wallingford where she married John she is shown as born in Somerset, but I can not find any link. I can not find anything with these details in the 1891 census. I've looked through Births in 1881 and 1882 to acquire a birth certificate but I can not find Annie born in Bristol and none of the birthplaces seem near. Any idea on what I can do next?
