Thank you all for your help. I am very grateful. Robert is still in Scotland and recently lost his beloved wife of 40 years very suddenly last month. It would be good to find William, where ever he is, alive or dead. Better alive though.

Hi Lyndyloo6,

I've just interigated some federal databases and can't find anyone with those specific details - I also ran all of the combinations and permutations as well, including a few 'wild card' searches.

Its possible that once here, he lied about his age for the official records. He even could have gone to New Zealand as so many absconding spouses/fathers do/have done.

Had another look and found a couple of Craig William Walkers..will pm their addresses..Sometimes people use their middle names..two of my sisiters did!.Eileen

Hi..I Looked at the electoral register but could not find any William Craig Walkers anywhere. There are loads of Williams in each state.
Is Robert in Aus?...Eileen in Tasmania

Just an update on my info.. We have just found out that William has a middle name of 'Craig'. We still have not found him alive or dead.

I am looking for a bit of help from our Australian freinds.
I am trying to locate William Walker, DOB 15/05/1939. William was born in Leith and Lived at 30 Arthur Street, Leith, Edinburgh. He has a brother Robert. He was in the RAF regiment. He and his wife emigrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1967.They had a daughter called Sandra, who was born in Edinburgh 1966. William and his wife split up shortly after they arrived in Australia. The last time anyone heard from him he was in the Melbourne area.

Any news, good or bad would be good as the family would like to be in touch with him if he is still alive.
