Find Ancestors

Trying to find John Henry Wood born approx 1853. He was charged for murder in 1880, so he could be in prison in the 1881 or even worse hanged. Found an article on the web about the murder and would like to know where he was born. He was at Whiston nr Rotherham at the time of the event.
Can anyone help find possible place of birth. Please don't use credits for this.

Ooops...you have probably seen this lol

oops, just deleted my reply instead of edit. Thanks for that Linda, just found the link although John Henry Woods' dad "John Wood" is said to live in Whiston, perhaps if someone has ancestry they could take a peek and see if dad is born in Whiston or somewhere else, it would be the 1851 census. Thankfully if this comes up a blank, then we are not connected.

Thanks for that both of you, yes i think that is them, trying to tie them into my family, well maybe, er murder and then execution, oh well never mind.
Have found a sarah Guest marries one of them, think she might be one of mine, as i have a Hannah Guest marries in Rotherham in 1832 parents william and martha. So if i can find Hannahs siblings that might be a good start, just looking through other peoples trees now as we speak. Thanks for that every one again thanks .
