Find Ancestors

is there any kind soul who could help me please ,i have searched every avenue open to me but cannot find the following .

i have isabella rigby born 1855, and by 1881 she had become bella green with a daughter clara green born 1880/1they were both born tewkesbury ,i know who isabella's parents were ;but im trying to find who she married;and what happened to clara;

as by 1881 both bella and her daughter are living with harriet, bellas .widowed mum .

linda ,thankyou so much .i had checked every where and could'nt find any thing ,.
as bella was living with her mum i guess james may have died. or maybe working away from home .so i'llgive that a check .thankyou again .x

well again ive just spent hours .trying to find any more info about clara and james and isabella .where was james born ?where was he in 1881 census while his wife and daughter were living with his wifes mum .i can't find any deaths that might be right .with only 1 maybe for clara in 1995 age 14 .ive searched bmd, family .org .and freecen ;does any one have access to 1901 who would please have a look for this family all born tewkesbury .but james is .not certain ;
the 2 details linda found for me are correct ;

So here is the family in 1901
and it looks like the original Clara Green in 1881 must have died because in 1901 they have another Clara Green who is 11 years old.
Also going back to the 1891 census there is not two Charles H Green's 2 and 1 and 1/2 only the two year old and then on the next page is the entry for Green female less than 1 month old..who is most probably your Clara Green.

Possibly ??? James in 1871...there is only one James Green in Tewkesbury....and fits with the above birth..

the second one in 1901 does seem to be correct ,the 1891 not sure with isabella dob.being way out .why would they start calling clara, emily , unless there were 2 children emily and clara .i do now think though that the first clara did die age 14 in 1895,which would explain where she dissapeared to ;

pam ,thankyou ;this marriage for clara green could be correct if the second clara born 1891, it would be around that time if she wed ..i am begining to think the first clara did die 1895 ..

Hi there, i don't think our Greens are related, but having read through your posts and if you haven't already solved the puzzle, i thought it might be worth considering that Bella was just staying with her mum on the night of the 1881 census, maybe you could do an address search if you have one for 1871 or 1901 to see if James was home.
