Find Ancestors

If you apply for the certificate for the Sarah Mason listed above in 1843 specifying you only want it if the spouse surname is Ward you may find it is the right one.
It is not unknown for a name to be missing from the original indices and as I said it looks as though there is one male missing and that 1843 marriages are completely transcribed onto freebmd.

Just searched the full index for mar 1843 no Fred Ward listed.

Cant find any marriage on ancestry either.

Just the free BMD. I am kind of new at this so do not know where else to look. I have a paid sub to ancestry.co.uk but that is only one I have invested money in .

there is one more female listed than male so Fred Ward could have been missed in the original indices

That is indeed them . William Ward is the direct ancestor of my other half however I just cannot find where (and if) frederick and Sarah got married. Maybe they did the modern thing and lived together.

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me find marriage for the following

Him- Frederick Ward- Born Kettering either 1822 or 1824
Her Sarah Mason - born Lynn Norfolk 1828

In 1861 they lived in kings lynn with 5 children eldest of whom was 17
