HI I am trying to find details about my great grandfather who we believe died in the Faroe Isles during WWII, in about 1943, we believe he was part of the cold stream guards and played an important role as batman to an importmant man. We do not know how he died and my nan was only a child when it happened so she has always wanted to know. Her name is Janet Taylor and her mum was Caroline Machine before she became Caroline Taylor and they lived in Sheffield where I believe George was born. If anyone knows anyting about George James Taylor, how he died? or anything more? please contact me. |
