It's impossible to do Thomas in Wales without certs. You will need one of his children's birth certs for his wife's maiden name followed by his marriage cert to find out his dad's name. |

Hi Sian - South Wales is a fairly large area and Thomas is a very common Welsh surname - can you be any more specific? |
