You need to write/phone Birmingham Records Office and ask them to search for his birth record - if you hve the name of your grandmother that would help immensely in identifying the correct person.

If necessary/available do you have your parent's mariage cert?
You should also be able to see if he has remarried and follow through to see if there are children listed as the mother/wife's surname will appear beside the children's birth registration.
Good luck

Hi
I'm trying to trace my biological father, who I haven't seen for over 22 years, his name is as above and from what i can work out from the birth records in the area he may have been born in 1958, 59 or 60, he was born in Sutton Coldfield and was living in Great Barr at the time of my birth according to my birth certificate, my mother has no more information for me.
Other than the fact he used to have a motorbike and may still have, i'm really interested to find out if i have any half brothers and sisters out there and if my Grandmother is still alive, who also i don't have any information about.
If anyone can help, i would appreciate it. ;)
