MAVIS

Robert Thomas married outside of Oxfordshire

had twin sons
Benjamin and Joseph Thomas baptised Bicester
4/4/1691

Benjamin 1691 married Susannah Motley Bicester 29/8/1714

They had

Benjamin baptised 24/9/1715
John baptised 10/11/1737 lots in between.

John bap.10/11/1737 had an unknown wife and married outside of Oxfordshire

Elizabeth baptised 19/4/1761 Bicester
William bapt 4/12/1763 Bicester.

William Thomas was buried Bicester 26/12/1788
John Thomas was buried Bicester 12/8/1813 from the Workhouse aged 75 yrs.

If this turns out to be your family you could improve the siblings of the above.

Syresham is actually only about 8 miles from Bicester, so it may be a possibility.

There also an entry for Northamptonshire:

William Thomas:
Christened: 16 MAR 1761, Wappenham, Northampton, England
Father: William Thomas
Mother: Jane
Married: abt 1783

Wappenham is quite close to Syresham.

This is a member submitted record, so maybe not as reliable as an extracted record (which the post above was).

The IGI Index on the Family Search website has an entry for Wm Thomas: christened 04 DEC 1763 Bicester, Oxford, England, fathers name given as Jno Thomas. No mothers name given.

Hi...wondered if anyone can help.........i am trying to trace my 5 x Gt Grandad William Thomas.....so far have found he was born in Syersham in Northamptonshire c1763 think he may have been christened in Bicester in December the same year. Would love to know his parents names and if he had any siblings.
Any help appreciated
