I`m trying to find the marriage and former name of Mary Jackson born Hull c1815.She had a daughter Sarah Ann born Hull c1837.Mother and daughter are together in York on the 1861 census but I can`t seem to find the family before this time.Any help will be much appreciated as I appear to be completely stuck with this at present. |

In 1861 both Mary and Sarah are unmarried; William is listed as Mary's grandson (Sarah's son?) yet in 1881 he is Sarah's brother. Sarah is a dressmaker on both. |

Many thanks to Sam from Stoke and Potty for their help obviously Mary was unmarried when she had Sarah and it will be very difficult to trace her parents as she was born c1815 when records were sparse.Kindest regards to you both.Dave. |
