You say your grandfather's birth cert gives you the info about HIS father's birth etc? Where was your grandfather born?

Hello

I'm trying to find out any information regarding my great grandfather James Moore. The information I have is rather confused! According to my grandfather's birth certificate James was born in Paddington, London in c1863 but I've drawn a blank before this. James was married to Annie Maria (Reynolds) and they were living in Chelsea in 1892. However, James may also have been known as George, as I have details from my grandfather's papers of a George Moore, born around 1855 who died in Fulham workhouse in 1932. I'm uncertain whether George may have been an a brother of James or was James' original baptisimal name! If anyone has any information or has had a similar problem in their family tree I would love to hear from you.
