Charles Trojan Bell, born Edmonton in 1883. Married in Kingston (Apr/May/June Qtr 1902) either Annie Wallace or Lily Wright, had 1 daughter that I know of Doris Maude Bell (my nan) born 1905 in Barnet and died aged 54 in 1959.

Desperately trying to find out which one is my Grt Nan and other ancestors of the Bell clan.

Really appreciate any other help or links anyone can give me.

The easiest way to find out would be to buy your nan's birth certificate.

On his service records there are 6 children

Can anyone tell me more about his military service records and the others born in Solihull???

I don't currently have access to ancestry, but will look at joining that soon.

Thank you for Military records - they are amazing!!!!!!!! Can't quite believe it!!!!!

Never known anything about my Grt Grandad or that side of the family (they were never spoken about as my nan died when my dad was quite young!!!)

So it really is so lovely to know my family now - thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Just to let you know have found out so much this evening - got copies of my Gt Grandfathers Medal Records - showing every medal he was awarded - it is amazing - what a hero!!!! and you are too - for finding him for me!!!!!!!!
