I am trying to find information on a Phyllis Parker, born around 1913. From the information I have she lived a Bare just outside Morecambe, at around the age of 19 she became pregnant, (around 1932) and her boyfriend attempted to kill he by knocking her out and tying her to the railway line. It was quite a big case at the time. I have no further details of where she was born, or who her parents were. Any information welcome.

Sorry to say there are at least 8 Phyllis Parker's born between 1911 and 1915 in Lancashire.

Regarding the crime...you may need to contact the County Record Office, as they will have both newspaper articles and / or records of court cases.

Most of the on-line newspaper sites specialise in the 1800s
