I am trying to trace the ancestry of my greatgrandfather Charles Evans. I think the family were from Dowlais merthyr tydfall. He married Mary Lewis. He would probably have been born around 1875.He had a son Evan John Evans born 1902,
The family eventually lived in Edinburgh. Charles other son lived in Dowlais(sorry don't know his name).
Evan John died in Birmingham 1947
