In case you don't have the marriage cert, this is the GRO referenece:

Marriages Mar 1915 (>99%)
Boyd Myron L Robertson Cardiff 11a 726
Robertson Mary E Boyd Cardiff 11a 726

You can buy the cert from this site: www.gro.uk/

If you tick the box asking if you have the GRO ref and quote the above (District Cardiff, Volume 11a. page 726) it will cost you £7.

Do you have her marriage certificate? This should give her age (although it may just say Full Age if she was over 21) and her father's name and occupation.

With this information, you should be able to find her on the 1901 census which would give you her place of birth. You could then look for the birth on freebmd.

hi im looking for information on my grandmother, her name was mary elizabeth robertson, we know she married in march 1915 in glamorgan to my grandfather myron lester boyd. we think she was born in 1898 and died in 1971. however i cant seem to find any other information about her or her parents, anyone have any tips or advice on how i can obtain any other information? thank you anthony
