Hi Richard,
thanks for that,
all these seem to be born in England,
but i know for definate that there is a Canadian Link as Ruth Carter (Eliza/Elizabeths daughter was a native canadian indian (she was my father in laws grandmother and he has seen a photo of her.)
but i cannot find how they are linked to the other pembertons from Canada i have come across.
I guess that Thomas was born here but his older siblings/parents, were born in Canada but cannot seem to find the link?
Can anybody help, or see any connection i have missed.

Hi,
can somebody please look up the details of the 1861 census above and please tell me where the rest of the family were born,
I am desperately trying to find a Canadian connection.
Have found several other Pembertons from Quebec Canada, but cannot seem to link them to Eliza/Elizabeth or her father.

Hi Tania,
thank you very much, did you find the marriage on on free bmd, as i couldnt find it.
didnt think the other one was right seemed to early and wasnt sure about the change for Elizabeth/Eliza etc.
now have to see how far back i can get with her as i am looking for a canadian/american native indian heritage and i know it lies with Ruths side of the family but not sure if it is on her mother or fathers side?

Can anybody help me find more details please,
I have received marriage certificate for
Thomas William Lancaster/Ruth Carter 1907 living at 105, Bridge Road, Hammersmith in the district of Fulham, London,
I am trying to work backwards from these people,(please note i have the lancaster side)
have found what looks like Ruths Family in 1891 census Frederick Carter General Labourer)/Eliza but i am having troubles finding a marriage for them,
I have found one possible in Dec 1873 Hertfordshire Frederick James Carter/Elizabeth Annie Groom, but cannot find any children
before 1880 if this is the right couple did they have any children before 1881 census, if so how do i find out,
or can anyone find a possible later marriage about 1880., as there oldest child in 1881 is Louisa age 1.
