Trying to find the death of Jonas Wilson born 1765 son of Thomas/Hannah Wilson of Pudsey. Jonas married Hannah Swithenbank 1789 Calverley but both of Pudsey,Yorkshire
Son of Jonas/Hannah named Joseph moved to Hull and married a Dorcas Wilberforce who were my 4 greats grandparents

Hmm, there is a Hannah in the second 1841 census info. though not an uncommon name ......

Thanks for the info but I have a feeling that the Halifax Jonas is not mine. Will try and get death cert but I think he died before 1837. There is also one in Leeds who was transported but tracked it back and is not mine.
