Need to find out with my great gran mite be buried ,she died in jun 1921 in prescot.lancs.....were would i find out were she mite be buried,,,.

Hi Melanie,

I don't know if it's the same in Lancs as it is in Derby, but If I contact Derby City Council and give names and year of death they can check their records and tell me if my ancesters were buried in a cemetry. If they don't have the persons name then the person would have been buried in a church yard.

I think you probably need Merseyside council not Lancs.
Good Luck - Prescot registration district covers quite a wide area - are you able to narrow it down a bit more or did you mean actually in Prescot itself.

I think she died in bold. and in .a place called barrow hall,,,i found out that bold was was a area under prescot then,but with all the countys moving am stuck,

Bold seems to be Widnes area but I think you need someone with a more detailed knowledge of the area to advise you. I think it will still be under Maerseyside.
