Firstly, you need to find out who he married....then look for births on freebmd with surnames which tally with those of the parents

Hi, I've been trying to trace children and/or other living relatives of my great uncle Alfred Smith who was born in East London c1900/1901. I believe one of his children is called Mary (married name Logan?).

Alfred Smith's parents were Sidney Smith (born 1862) and Ellen Early/Hurley(born c1866) also born in East London.

Does anyone know any of Alfred Smith's children? Any help would be much appreciated.

Best wishes

Gill
