Hi there, wondered if anyone can help? I have got so far in my family traa and dont seem to be able to get any further.

I have the marriage certificate of my great great grandparents who were Archibald George Beavers who was 21 and Gertrude Elizabeth Duffield who was 20. They married on the 25th December 1903.

It shows that his parents are Arthur Augustus Beavers & Emily Laurel Beavers.

Have also found Arthur in the 1861 & 1871 census (I think its him) whicj shows that he was born about 1854 in Rutley Suffolk.

What i would like to get hold of is his birth certificate so i can confirm who his parents were and his marriage certificate for when he married Emily.

Can anyone help?

Marriage certificates usually only show father's name and occupation. Have you found the marriage of those 2 people yet.

Thanks for your replies guy... I don't know how you do it. I got the name Emily Laurel Beavers as she is one of the signitures on the marriage certificate of Archibald Beavers & Gertrude Duffield. maybe she is just another relative?

Tut tut! That's a conclusion you should not jump to. Just because someone's name is on a marriage certificate, you don't conclude that she's his mother. Actually it would be quite unusual for the mother to be a witness.
